The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen at HomeAway for a Channel Program Manager on the Growth Marketing team. This is an emerging role, reporting to the Global Sr Director of Trading & Performance Monitoring, Growth Marketing, and will be accountable to drive coordination across all growth marketing channels.

Working in partnership with other channel and trading experts on the Growth Marketing team, the Channel Program Manager will look after project plans, tasks and milestones, dependencies, and key communication for growth marketing. Background and experience in digital marketing is required, along with expertise in project/program management. The successful candidate will be highly data-driven and customer-centric.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Create detailed project plans, identifying key project tasks, milestones, dependencies, and blockers of all Growth Marketing channels (SEM, SEO, Affiliates, META, Display, Email, and apps)

- Provide clear, concise, and consistent Growth Marketing status to broader cross functional teams via multiple vehicles – email, wiki, etc…

- Understand all key processes and deliverables across all Growth Marketing disciplines at a high level and specialize as assigned initiatives require

- Create, own and maintain a resource for key project artifacts, including onboarding resources and playbooks

- Represent Growth Marketing at key meetings and working sessions, engaging Growth Marketing subject matter experts as appropriate

- Consider trade-offs between cost, schedule, and business benefit for incoming requests to growth marketing, and make recommendations to Growth Marketing leadership

To be successful the candidate will bring the following qualifications:

-Extensive project management expertise; with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in online marketing or eCommerce

- Proven success in partnering with multiple company functions (finance, analytics, marketing, product, engineering, sales, etc) and across regions globally

- Proven ability to manage against goals and exceed them

- Strong analytical and communication skills
