Conversion Optimization & Growth Manager
BigCommerce, named "Best Place to Work" in Austin in 2017 is looking for a technically savvy, process-oriented, data-driven marketer who focus on growth. As the Conversion Optimization & Growth Manager you’ll have the opportunity to positively influence the trajectory of a billion dollar company in a trillion dollar industry.
You must have a proven track record of consistently exceeding goals driving MRR and revenue growth, while focusing on conversion rate optimization throughout the entire customer journey. This role will allow you to work across the entire business, including Marketing (SEM, SEO, Content, Email, etc.), Analytics, Design, Product, Sales, and our Executive Leadership.
What You’ll Do
Grow Grow Grow:
- Focus on improving the right metrics, maximizing ROI, and driving revenue.
- Help set testing frameworks and strategy as it evolves over time.
- Identify and execute growth opportunities.
- Lead day-to-day operations of conversion rate optimization, especially top- and middle-of-the-funnel.
- Strategize cross-functionally with marketing, sales, design, and product for maximum impact.
Measure & Optimize Existing & Future Marketing Programs:
- Create testing environments and establish metrics to properly measure results across different marketing channels, different buyer segments, and different parts of the customer journey.
- Implement processes for A/B testing with rapid execution to deliver actionable data-driven results.
- Deliver results without biases across teams and business units for continuous feedback loop and utilize prior results to drive future initiatives. Update benchmarks and results and share to proper stakeholders.
- Be the resident expert on all CRO programs, especially all top- and middle-of-the-funnel tests across the entire website.
- Proactively inform marketing team on what's being tested, why, and expected results.
Own, Monitor & QA Website
- Own customer-facing website and experience across device types and entry points (eg. specific integrations like Amazon from ads to landing pages to signup flow) to optimize user experience, and maximize conversion rates and product adoption.
- Make necessary changes to website whether that be on our CMS (eg. Craft) or testing tools (eg. Optimizely).
- Coordinate with product marketing and product teams to align company narratives, product launches, and promotions.
Who You Are
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Math, Accounting, Finance, CS, or similar field.
- 5+ years of highly successful online marketing experience in software, including B2B SaaS.
- Technically Experienced
- A/B testing (eg. Optimizely, Google Optimize)
- Analytics (eg. Google Analytics, Segment, MixPanel)
- Data APIs (eg. Clearbit, Datanyze)
- User testing (eg. UserTesting.com, Hotjar, surveys)
- CMS (eg. WordPress, Craft)
- CRM (eg. Salesforce, Marketo)
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; SQL a plus
- Hands on experience with Adwords, Facebook Ads
- HTML, CSS, JS knowledge preferred
