D2B Merchandising Coordinator
As a member of the Merchandising Team, the Retailmenot, Inc. Deals2Buy Merchandising Coordinator focuses on building offers and optimizing page performance through curation and performance analysis. This position reports to the Merchandising Manager or Director. We are seeking someone who is passionate about the online shopping space and knows how to find a great coupon or deal to help our customers save. The ideal candidate will demonstrate confidence, an aptitude to learn quickly and a strong desire to contribute positively every day. This position is with a highly productive fast paced start up online publishing company operating with ecommerce partners.
Responsibilities & Project Work:
- Find and post offers
- Perform merchant performance and offer level analysis as assigned
- Optimizing pages
- Conduct competitive analysis to compare and improve content
- Curate content to engage users and achieve KPIs
- Suggest content for marketing channels, distribution channels, and product initiatives
- Monitor offer quality, linking, and pricing through series of daily site checks
- Review online content and mine for new offers and feedback on existing offers
- Assist on ad hoc cross functional projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 1-2 years experience in online Merchandising or online ecommerce
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong aptitude to work within deadlines both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate a consumer benefit through succinct writing and editing
- Business knowledge of retail and merchandising concepts and metrics
- Experienced with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Can spot a good deal from 50 feet and love saving money for yourself and others
