The Data Analyst Internship is a great way to learn what it’s like to work in a fast-paced growing technology company. Located in Downtown Austin, this individual will work with multiple departments to help support our business. Working closely with our Customer Experience team you will stretch your knowledge while assisting with understanding and documenting data patterns, preparing data reports and providing thorough communication on data to business owners. This is a paid internship with a flexible schedule. You have the opportunity to join the team ASAP with the possibility of extension.

• Analyze support contact data to look for trends, topics, and improvement opportunities.
• Manipulate and transform various datasets into the data required for analysis.
• Create reports to answer the “Who? What? Where? When? Why? And How?” questions around the business.
• Create Graphs and Summarize Data.
• Assist with creating presentations to communicate results of data studies to the rest of the business.

• Provide recommendations on opportunities to improve the business.

• This role is a paid, part-time assignment (15-20 hours/week). Hours are flexible based on the student’s class schedule.

• Currently pursuing a Computer Science degree or MIS degree.
• Highly skilled with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
• Basic understanding and experience with SQL preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong quantitative analysis skills.
• Detailed-oriented individual with drive to provide accurate results.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and topics in hosting and WordPress.
• General knowledge of Statistics.
• Love of spreadsheets and working with numbers.
