Demand Generation Manager
Modernize is looking for someone with a very particular set of skills to become its next Demand Generation Manager. This person is a master of marketing automation systems. They have a track record of designing, executing, and iterating on B2B marketing campaigns through multiple channels, and is as comfortable testing email designs as designing new Facebook campaigns. They has a love for learning new skills and a can-do attitude with no expectations of hand holding.
This marketing unicorn is also a solid project manager and detailed-oriented to a fault. They seek to improve those campaigns through an ongoing dialogue with Sales, and is a great listener. They have zero trepidation about talking to prospects, whether on the phone or at tradeshows. They likes to travel. They has a competitive nature. They loves winning.
What you will do:
- Be master of our Marketo instance. Be the master of our marketing automation/sales operations data flows.
- Design, launch, test and optimize email campaigns, both to new prospects and old leads and customers.
- Design, launch, test and optimize display campaigns, both to new prospects and old leads and customers.
- Execute our tradeshow strategy, including logistics, booth setup, communication strategy, and ROI analysis.
- Solicit regular feedback from Sales for content and process improvements, pick likely winners, and implement them.
- Map our customer journey. Create campaigns that help move customers through each stage.
- Design and build content marketing campaigns
- Bring to the table ideas for new lead acquisition channels, and be ready to learn how to launch test campaigns in them.
What you will need:
- BA/BS degree
- At least 3 years experience in B2B marketing, preferably with some SMB experience
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Power user of Marketo and Salesforce
- Strong analytical skills; a core belief in data-driven decision making.
- Experience using testing tools
- Experience in either Adwords, Facebook ads, LinkedIn ads
