Director of Strategic Partnerships

Who You Are:
Social Solutions is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships to join the Social Solutions team, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer. The Director will act in a business development capacity, identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships and alliances in conjunction with the company’s functional leaders. The ideal candidate is an experienced business development leader with a strong professional network and is able to lead the growth of a strategic partnership pipeline, assist the company in prioritizing partnership opportunities, drive our international reseller performance, and manage the process from business plan to execution.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of an overall partnership strategy for the company which aligns with the Company’s priority growth strategies
- Development and ownership of a pipeline of strategic partnerships across all areas of the product portfolio, as well as new growth areas
- Translation of partnership strategy into actionable, revenue-generating programs with existing or new partners
- Generation of a company-level partnership assessment and prioritization framework, including standardization of business case analysis
- Setting evaluation criteria for each partnership program and measuring success
- Managing new partner agreements, from negotiating scope to supporting the legal team in execution of agreement/contracts
- Work closely with Corporate Development, Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, the CTO office, Professional Services, and other business stakeholders
- Supporting Finance in financial planning and forecasting
- Reporting to company Executives, Owners and Board of Directors on partnership strategy and status
- Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills to effectively supervise projects to completion
- Experience in information technology, software, and/or nonprofit
- Demonstrated results in growing a successful partnership program
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience generating compelling business cases with actionable, measurable execution plans
- Must be highly self-motivated, able to work autonomously and in high pressure environments
- Strong, demonstrated qualitative and quantitative analysis skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in matrixed organizations
- Process-oriented and driven to achieve strategic goals
- Willing to travel 25%
