Opportunity - The Global Product Marketing Senior Manager, is responsible for meeting and exceeding business objectives for marketplace product launches at HomeAway. Critical to the success of the role includes developing a deep understanding of HomeAway’s customers and market, developing and managing global go-to-market strategies, ensuring internal and external readiness for launches, and ensuring strong and enduring product positioning and customer messages. Due to the entrepreneurial and dynamic nature of our business, we are looking for a leader who can operate successfully at a strategic level but who are equally comfortable at a detailed execution level. Our ideal candidate is strategic, adaptable, data-driven, and strongly motivated to contribute in any way possible to the success of the team, our customers and our global initiatives. 

Primary Responsibilities:

GTM:

-Define GTM strategies for marketplace product launches, globally and locally

-Ensure GTM strategy fits in overall partner journey planning and orchestrating stories across quarters and years

-Own and update GTM playbook for launches as product releases and marketing channels evolve

-Maintain and communicate KPIs, learnings, and launch success to stakeholders company wide.

Content and Messaging:

-Develop and create the positioning and one voice/ master content documentation for launches

-Work with internal teams on delivering clear, effective customer marketing and messaging as part of launches 

-Review and provide feedback on training and marketing materials provided to support launch

-Provide feedback and input into product development process to ensure onsite product copy aligns with positioning

Readiness:

-Serve as the hub to all GTM activities, locally and globally; partner with program on GTM and readiness activities across org

-Support other team as they prepare functional specific content for launches

-Broadcast GTM activities widely across company on a weekly basis and via quarterly plans

Post launch adoption: 

-Partners with product, marketing, CS, Sales, and Pmktg advocacy team to drive adoption of key products and features

-Track record meeting/exceeding objectives, locally and globally

-Understanding customer needs better than customers do; customer centric judgment

-Measurable improvements in customer satisfaction

-Upfront quality and clarity of positioning & planning; customer delight at launch

-Highly impactful programs that align customer, company, and team success

-Excellent working relationship with product management, marketing, sales, and customer experience teams

-Motivated team and strong relationships built throughout the organization
