What you’ll do…As an information security engineer you will build and maintain Duo's internal corporate infrastructure, and you will develop systems for managing Duo’s fleet of disparate endpoints utilizing configuration management tools and concepts. Together with the Corporate Security and ISS teams, you will architect and implement automated tools to improve Duo’s corporate security posture. In this role, you will need to stay on top of the latest threats and trends that are relevant to corporate information security in order to keep all of Duo’s systems, endpoints, networks, and accounts secure.
Skills you have…- You are a master of Linux system administration, hardening, and performance tuning and you occasionally dream in BASH
- You have deep experience with configuration management tools and concepts (Chef, Puppet, etc.)
- You can effortlessly develop in Python, Perl, Ruby, PHP, or another dynamic programming language
- You have hands on experience with cloud-based services within AWS
- You know the ins and outs of managing macOS, Linux, and Windows endpoints especially as they relate to endpoint security
- You are excited about collaborating with the entire company to contribute to the internal security of the Most Loved Company in Security
- You love the challenges presented by the ever-changing information security landscape
