The Opportunity:

We are searching for a SOX Compliance Portfolio Manager to support the HomeAway Product & Technology teams. This role will be with our HomeAway product & technology team(s) in beautiful Austin, TX. We’re looking for a dynamic financial SOX compliance project manager and organizer that will support the strategic portfolio planning, Financial and SOX compliance and operations of the HomeAway product & technology organization.

Key Responsibilities & Experiences

- Administer day-to-day team investment portfolio and associated personnel, finance, procurements, accounting, SOX, and other associated dependencies.

- Define & streamline planning and prioritization processes. Identify areas of business & team performance that can be improved, provide insightful recommendations and drive efficiencies for the leadership team. 

-Ensure accurate and timely information flow to and from the technology leadership team.

- Define and manage team compliance against key business requirements, regulations, and policies.

- Support regular team communications, aligned with defined strategy goals spanning our Product, Platform, Process, Partnership, and People objectives.

- Consult portfolio leaders included executive leadership team spanning Technology, Product, Finance, Accounting, and other x-company functional teams.

- Responsible for capturing and distributing key meeting points, gathering action items, and follow-through to ensure actions are tracked and completed.

- Provide leadership on several cross-team projects, requiring constant communications, tracking of status, and drive for results.

- Support design & development of new tools and reports to support portfolio management of the organization.

 

Required Skills:

- Strong organizational skills and proven program/project management experience. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize portfolio planning based activities with varied deadlines.

- Strong verbal, written communication skills.

- Effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to management, clients, and other employees of the organization.

- Demonstrate positive influencing skills. 

- Solid business acumen & analytical skills for with ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an ability to function in the abstract.

- 1-5 years’ experience as a [project, portfolio, or business manager] in a complex corporate environment.

- Experience in multiple functional areas within large multinational corporations.

- Advanced skills in Outlook, Keynote, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

- Desired skills in advanced analytics tools with skills in Database & Web technology, including experience in HTML, SQL, and other Internet & data analytics technologies. 

Education:

- Business or Technology Degree, or related experience.
