The Job At-A-Glance:
Q2 is seeking a Manager, Delivery to manage an Implementations Delivery team focused on the successful configuration and deployment of Q2 Digital Banking Platform software for Financial Institutions. This individual will be focused on quality, efficiency, automation, and consistent configuration of the software solution with an eye toward process improvement, team leadership and individual mentoring.
A Typical Day:
- Lead and manage an Implementation Delivery Team to configure and deliver quality software deployments for our clients
- Hire and build high-performance teams that meet and exceed baseline expectations
- Develop and hold the team accountable for quality assurance checkpoints to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Responsible for meeting revenue goals for a portfolio of implementation projects
- Monitor and impact key delivery operations metrics and efficiencies
- Develop a team that creates and adheres to Q2's best practices
- Evaluate and introduce constant improvements to the configuration and implementation processes
- Work closely with the Delivery Managers and Project Managers to provide technical support and resources for projects
- Work closely with Product, Development, and other Q2 teams to resolve escalated project blockers.
- Work closely with Sales, Support, and Customer Success to set and manage client expectations
- Engage the stakeholders within Q2 to ensure team goals are met
- Analyze project metrics and align initiatives with department direction
- Responsible for ensuring all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here's What We're Looking For:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 4+ years of experience; or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Typically requires 1-2 years managing and developing employees.
- Strong team leadership qualities with proven experience growing and mentoring teams
- Excellent written/oral communication skills and ability to interface effectively with peer managers as well as senior management
- The ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditions
- Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologies
- Experience building, growing, motivating, and mentoring high-performance teams
- Articulate, thorough, and process-minded
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed (up to 30% travel)
- Financial Services and enterprise software experience preferred
