Partner Marketing Specialist
BigCommerce, named "Best Place to Work" in Austin in 2016 is looking for a Partner Marketing Specialist to join our growing Marketing team. The Partner Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating and driving a “through and to” marketing strategy and executing it across two partner ecosystems: Solutions Partners and Technology Partners. The right candidate is an energetic marketer and team player who manages collaborative marketing campaigns across internal teams and strategic partner stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with Marketing Leadership to develop and execute marketing campaigns to and through partners including identifying opportunities and leading execution of campaigns through the partner channels.
- Drive client satisfaction, competitive differentiation and revenue impact via integrated marketing and communications strategies and campaigns by working closely with BigCommerce stakeholders.
- Manage projects and communications internally and with partners to achieve agreed upon success metrics.
- Be a trusted liaison that aligns the following teams for joint success: 1) sales teams, 2) partner marketing team, and 3) BigCommerce marketing leadership and subject matter experts and stakeholders
- Work closely with the Director of Partner Marketing, executing marketing strategies and supporting campaigns to meet partnership success metrics. Campaigns to include:
- Partner onboarding, activation and engagement campaigns
- New client acquisition via thought leadership, digital marketing and content marketing projects
- Drive collaboration with partners’ marketing counterparts to plan, develop and execute agreed upon marketing and communications projects.
- Manage, maintain and update portal content.
- Maintain and implement a robust communications calendar including Channel Account Manager (CAM) communications, newsletters and product communications.
- Develop scalable marketing assets, campaigns, content and engagement strategy to serve both Solutions and Technology partners.
- Report and analyze metrics for Solutions and Technology partners to marketing leadership.
- Support the implementation and execution of direct partner program benefits.
- Champion our partners within BigCommerce to ensure we deliver an awesome partner experience--the best in the ecommerce industry
Who you are
- Experienced Marketing Professional
- 2+ years of marketing experience, ideally in software or technology partner marketing.
- Previous experience in executing partner marketing strategies and delivering effective communication that gets results is required.
- Savvy and proven success with integrated marketing programs—first and last you’re a rock-solid marketer--you’ll showcase a portfolio of partner campaigns.
- Advanced level experience with marketing automation systems and Salesforce.com.
- Master Communicator - Excellent written/verbal communication and customer relationship skills are critical as you’ll work across all levels of the business. You must be comfortable providing a point of view on all marketing engagement with partners through solid understanding of the partner and BC’s business and value propositions, leveraging marketing best practices and individual marketing acumen.
