AlienVault, Inc. is looking for Pre-Sales Engineer: Solutions Architect to work in Austin, TX.
- Sell cyber-security and networking security products/solutions.
- Prioritize sales opportunities, articulating technical benefits of applications to stakeholders.
- Provide technical input to cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product enhancements for technical and high value cyber-security projects that require monitoring of networks and performance of sophisticated analysis for attack/breach detection.
- Sell cyber-security products requiring extensive technical expertise and support for use.
- Plan/modify product configuration to meet customer needs.
- Confer with customers and design engineers to determine system requirements. Prepare/deliver technical presentations.
- In connection with such duties, apply principles and theoretical knowledge of: research and development in networking and cyber security technologies with focus on encryption and integration with hybrid computing; design of algorithms in furtherance of novel ways to encrypt data; and design and development of secure cloud services to provide on-demand encrypted communication between multiple parties.
