As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with cross functional teams to help develop effective pricing strategies, analyze data to drive insights, and ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative/modeling skills, financial acumen, and the ability to work harmoniously across departments. 


* Please note, role requires reporting in office 1 x per week to our Austin HQ or NYC regional office

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze historical financial data, cost structures, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations for pricing decisions. 
  • Create financial models to assess the financial impact of various pricing scenarios on revenue, margin, and profitability. 
  • Work with finance and operational teams to collect accurate cost data. 
  • Evaluate the potential effect of pricing changes on overall profitability and the company's financial health. 
  • Work with Pricing & Packaging leadership and with product leaders to help finalize pricing & packaging requirements for new offerings 
  • Be day to day contact for sales members on general questions on existing pricing and packaging model 

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of pricing analysis experience, ideally in the SaaS software space 
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong financial acumen, with advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis. 
  • Proficiency in Excel, experience with Tableau and Salesforce (navigation and reporting). 
  • Experience with CPQ systems preferred (e.g. Apttus, Salesforce CPQ, or the like).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for productive collaboration with diverse teams. 
  • Detail-oriented mindset to ensure precise financial calculations and analyses. 
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines. 
  • Able to create and deliver clear presentations which summarize analyses.
