Challenges you can work on as a Senior UI Engineer:

• Create experiences seen by over 100 million people a month
• Develop fast, scalable, highly available, and reliable web apps
• Build component based web UI architectures with JavaScript 
• Develop smart web apps that will allow for in-session personalization

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience developing highly available enterprise web applications with state of the art front end web technologies 
• Well versed in various JavaScript libraries (React, Backbone, Angular, Ember, Hapi.js, etc) HTML, CSS3 and Less/SASS experience
• Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate well multi-functionally across departments
• An analytical problem solver that is passionate about delivering a high quality user experience
• Mobile first responsive design experience
• Cross-browser development & compatibility experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands on technical leadership and participate in architectural decision-making
• Drive new features from inception to production, working across the company with product managers, UX designers and other partners
• Deliver tested and optimized high performance code for a distributed SOA environment (our stack satisfies 10s of thousands ofrequests per second!)
• Create and maintain quality software using premier tools: GitHub, Splunk, New Relic, Sonar and TeamCity
• Participate in resolution of production issues and lead efforts toward solutions
• Grow a performant production environment in a way that makes the system increasingly reliable
• Showcase your work on our tech blog and internal & external conferences
• Conduct peer code reviews and act as a resource for junior developers
