ABOUT THIS ROLE
Position: Software Engineer II
Location: Austin, TX
Responsibilities: Design and develop highly performant large scale financial services applications. Lead the design of major software components, systems, and features. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications. Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Maintain high code-quality standards across team through code reviews, mentoring and coaching. Design major software components, systems, and features with the company's financial software. Troubleshoot technology issues and develop creative and simple solutions by determining system performance standards, developing, and directing software system testing and validation procedures. Follow best practices on design techniques and coding standards. Support the production systems build, deployment (CI/CD), and monitoring.
Educ./experience: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Developer, Software Development Engineer, or related role. Experience must include the use of Java, TypeScript, and Python as programming languages to develop software applications; hosting and deploying applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS); and managing and deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
