Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for designing and implementing highly reliable components for our business critical .NET applications.
• Design efficient algorithms and data-structures to encapsulate key business logic and data.
• Work closely with the engineering leadership team and key business stakeholders to develop new features to address business critical needs.
• Translate high-level business needs into actionable engineering requirements and will work closely with our QA team to ensure on-time release and product quality.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle process.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer, Computer programmer, Research Assistant or related occupation.
• Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:
  • 1)C# or Java software development;
  • 2)Object Oriented programming and design;
  • 3)Web technologies, including at least 3 of the following: ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, jQuery, LAMP;
  • 4)Building and consuming web services, including at least 2 of the following: SOAP, REST, WCF, IIS, XML, JSON; and,
  • 5)RDBMS and ORM experience, including at least 2 of the following: MS SQL Server, MySQL, SQLite, NHibernate, Entity Framework.
