Your Quest: 
As the Solution Consultant you will act as the trusted advisor to clients who have engaged and are examining solutions with Volusion’s enterprise ecommerce product, Mozu. Ideal candidates will have experience working in pre-sales technical assistance role, completing demonstrations and presentations, as well as creating brand and technical alignment.

In this role as the Solution Consultant, you must be able to communicate Volusion’s product value to a range of audiences including business stakeholders, technical users, and senior leadership typically at the C or VP Level.  You will identify technical and business issues proactively and engage product and sales teams to create solutions that exceed customer expectations and drive further engagement of Volusion products and services.

*Austin location preferred, but will consider other cities.*
 
 Your Objectives:

  • Thorough understanding of the enterprise sales cycle with a focus on Volusion product, technologies and our customers business processes
  • Communicate solution messaging at both a technical and business level
  • Create and present presentations to clients
  • Detail Mozu solution insights according to client need
  • Supporting enterprise sales cycles
  • Responding to RFI and RFP proposals
  • Communicate and Collaborate with external teams
  • Ability to understand business and technical problems and create potential solution alignment with the Volusion Product offering
  • Communicate and Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Sales, and Marketing
  • Remain current on industry trends, events, and evolving technology
  • Expected Travel up to 50%
 
What’s in your arsenal:

  • BA/BS required
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a customer facing Sales or Account Management role working with a SaaS based solution
  • Experience in ecommerce  or revenue generating applications highly desired
  • Stellar presentation skills
  • Ability to identify business needs and align them with technical solutions
  • Excellent written and oral communication as well as organizational skills
  • Sharp, self-motivated and skilled creating alignment, value and trust with clients
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Affinity for technology and business with a preference for experience in the following areas: SaaS platforms, REST APIs, and Reporting Services.
