Golden Frog is looking a Sr. Manager - Human Resources & Culture to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. This is a high-visibility role at our corporate headquarters and reports to the CFO. You must be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves". Responsibilities:

  • Create, document, and take ownership of HR processes at a strategic level that align with overall company goals using best industry practices.
  • Evangelize company culture both internally and externally to maximize talent attraction and employee retention. Envision and communicate the philosophies and practices that make a great workplace; think on a strategic/visionary level and can collaborate with our leadership to make it real.
  • Ensure positive representation of Golden Frog in the talent marketplace.
  • Develops, manages and executes world class HR and Recruiting programs, including compensation, benefits, performance management, rewards and recognition, compliance, employee relations and HRIS to support the company’s values and culture, and to drive performance.
  • Provide first-level support for the administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with company practices, state and federal legal requirements.
  • Serve as ADP expert which will range from high-level system optimization and implementation to data entry, maintenance, and accuracy of employee data including; hiring of employees, terminations and one-time payments, time and attendance entries ensuring timeliness, completeness and accuracy of employee data.
  • Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve the HR policies and initiatives to enhance overall business performance and stay informed on relevant HR business practices and HR technology.
  • Translate the strategic and tactical business initiatives into HR strategic and operational plans and successfully implement.
  • Ensure that recruiting creates promoters in the candidate, employee and hiring manager populations 100% of the time.
  • Manage a variety of projects. Examples include; satisfaction surveys, employee relations, Employee Handbook updates, Open Enrollment timelines, introductory and annual Performance reviews and much more.
  • Handle benefits such as, Open Enrollment, 401(k) administration, employee questions, and interface with benefit providers.
  • Conduct onboarding and orientation for all new hires.
  • Assist with compliance-related requirements including EEO-1 submission, posting requirements, managing I-9 compliance, ACA compliance, audits, etc...
  • Regularly track employee data and share metrics with internal stakeholders.
  • Be a business partner to all levels of management and support their initiatives from people's perspective.
  • Collaborate with HR team members, manage projects, and provide direction on HR-related programs and practices.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to pro-actively facilitate workforce planning/forecasting activities.
  • Support Payroll team by confirming payroll deductions and pay data as well as serve as backup Payroll processor.
  • Manage 1 Internal Recruiter.
  • Organize office events both company and social related.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS plus 5+ years related HR generalist experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HR programs such as on-boarding, off-boarding, recruiting, engagement initiatives, policy interpretation/administration.
  • Experience analyzing data to support decision-making and recommendations.
  • Ability to manage priorities and handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience working with immigration counsel, employees and managers to ensure timely visas and compliance.
  • Strong management skills - able to develop plans and manage to results.
  • Effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to handle sensitive matters with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Experience working with and serving as a subject matter expert with ADP is a must.
  • SPHR/PHR Certification is a plus.
  • Experience as a sole HR practitioner highly desirable.
