Staff CRM Software Engineer - MuleSoft

Workplace Status:
Hybrid - This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the candidate is expected to report to their designated primary location three times per week, at minimum, or other frequency dictated by the business.
Location- Austin, TX or Palo Alto, CA
The Role:
The Staff CRM Software Engineer - MuleSoft is responsible for participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of application developed. He / She will work with other IT staff members to ensure the highest degree of functionality and reliability of our infrastructure. This position requires an individual who is hands-on with MuleSoft, detail-oriented, able to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment, can multitask, possesses solid technical communication and customer service skills.
What You'll Do
- Understand and validate integration requirements
- Create High-level and Low-level Design Documents meeting business requirements, standards and best practices
- Develop Install, configure and deploy APIs on MuleSoft platform
- Develop Business Process Orchestrations
- Write automated unit test cases providing acceptable code coverage
- Co-ordination of implementation with various teams to create development plans, support delivery and test of scalable, reusable, supportable and repeatable architectural and design patterns
- Perform and provide support for deployment and post go-live
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other team members
- Assist in configuring the MuleSoft environment, including containerization design
- Architectural solutions/designs to development, testing, deployment, and support
- Define the structure of the system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation
- Mitigation of technical risks, ensuring that the solution services can be realistically delivered by the underlying technology components.
- Conduct in-depth specific code reviews to optimize resource utilization and capabilities
- Understand and clarify complex business integration requirements and create scalable/manageable designs
- Develop integrations against Salesforce and other technologies
- Test, deploy, support, and maintain integration platforms
- Actively document implementations, so others can easily understand
- Stay up to date with the latest MuleSoft features, best practices, and industry trends.
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- 5+ Years of hands-on MuleSoft experience gained on company or client projects
- 7+ years Java experience with different framework like Spring, JMS, REST, SOAP web services and any RDBMS
- Strong knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and Runtime Manager
- Must have full-stack experience in configuring MuleSoft 4.x on cloud (AWS, Azure), architecting, designing, developing, testing, and deploying Mule 4.x.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in J2EE, JAVA, JSON, XML, SOAP, XSLT, XPATH, XSD, Spring Boot etc. and J2EE frameworks such as Spring
- Strong knowledge of REST architectural style and web standards (i.e., JSON, CORS, etc.)
- Strong command of object-oriented design principles and prevailing design patterns
- Experience designing and developing RESTful and SOAP
- Experience delivering enterprise wide solutions
- Working experience with Enterprise Integration pattern and Java Design Pattern.
- Working knowledge of application security technologies, i.e., OAuth2, SSO, SAML, etc.
- Experience in working with MuleSoft Connectors and building custom integrations for Salesforce or other cloud SaaS solutions
- DevOps, CI/CD, Agile, TDD and/or BDD, containerization (Kubernetes/Docker), unit testing and mocking frameworks
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Good to have familiarity with other Integration platforms such as Layer 7
- Relevant MuleSoft certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer) are a plus.
Compensation:
The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.
• The salary range for this role is $152,100 to $232,900. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
• Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
• This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.
