Technical Recruiter
Silvercar is seeking an experienced full-time Technical Recruiter to work in our Austin Headquarters office. We’ve experienced rapid growth in the past, and we see no end in sight. To help us meet our goals we need to efficiently find and hire the best engineering and product talent who are eager to leverage the newest technologies to keep our company on the forefront of mobility technology. Our Technical Recruiter must not only have prior experience helping companies expand their teams, but is also detail-oriented, extremely organized, and can strengthen our existing hiring processes.
In this position you will collaborate with our technical and product teams to lead our search for potential candidates, including – if needed, coordinating with outside recruiting agencies. You will learn our business so you can clearly communicate the full potential of where Silvercar is going, identify those who could become strong team members, and bring them on board. You will reach out, perform phone screens, arrange on-site interviews, coordinate interview teams and collect feedback, host candidates and make them feel at home, and ensure that our process is smooth and effective. It's the recruiter's duty to create an exceptional candidate experience throughout every stage of the interview process. You Have:
- 2-4 years prior experience hiring engineers at startups/early stage companies
- Technically knowledgable enough to do initial technical phone screens. Our tech stack: Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, Python, Java, AWS,
- Good understanding of the Austin tech hiring challenges
- Experience working with external recruiters and agencies
- Strong hiring process experience and ideas
- Excellent communicator, able to learn and clearly articulate Silvercar's story, background, traction, market opportunity, philosophy, and culture
- Strong writing skills
- Extremely organized, methodical, and analytical
- Network and/or rolodex of potential hires
- Experience with tools for organizing, managing, tracking hiring activities, and scheduling candidates
