The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly-responsive, strategic, and analytical Website Marketing Principal to grow and maintain our portfolio of public facing-marketing websites, GoGuardian.com and PearDeck.com. You will be responsible for setting and meeting performance goals that drive business impact through nurturing the growth of new users and meeting the needs of existing customers across our web properties. The ideal candidate has experience crafting and implementing web strategy, and developing clear and effective website marketing program plans that utilize best-in-class approaches to maximize performance and user experience. 

You will be a member of the Marketing team managing multiple domains on an ongoing basis in service of our goals, and have both a strong creative eye and an analytical mind. Additional responsibilities include overseeing website maintenance and operation, with particular attention to efficient and impactful functionality and accuracy of content. This manager serves the key function of working across teams and departments to plan, develop, maintain, and enhance our websites. Our ideal candidate has experience managing and maintaining a WebFlow CMS platform. Sample URLs and sample projects are required to be considered.

What You'll Do

  • Craft overarching web strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • Utilize Webflow to design, develop, and enhance web pages on our websites in collaboration with our website developer. 
  • Create and implement an approach to information architecture, website navigation, SEO and overall user experience to drive website traffic, increase conversions and optimize the visitor journey.
  • Implement measurement strategies within analytical tools and tagging methodologies to gather and gauge performance, identify patterns/trends, and recommend areas for optimization to ensure strong attribution. 
  • Serve as a web development subject matter expert and contribute your expertise to address complex technical projects. 
  • Define and track objectives and key results across web domains, regularly measuring performance (using Google Analytics 4) against targets and making data-driven recommendations for improvements. 
  • Conduct A/B testing and other optimization techniques to improve website performance, conversion rates, and user engagement.
  • Set cadence for site content updates and functionality improvements across domains. 
  • Develop a plan for design and maintenance of site accessibility to ensure websites comply with the appropriate laws and regulations.
  • Build collaborative cross-functional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders on shared work-streams, such as: creative development, user experience design, and content development in service of our goals.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years experience leading web strategy and optimization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and additional programming languages.
  • Advanced proficiency in utilizing web tools including: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and other measurement platforms.
  • SEO expertise with the ability to guide and implement best practices and principles.
  • A specialist in working with creative teams and converting Figma or Photoshop design prototypes into functional responsive website experiences in partnership with a website developer.
  • Proven expertise in setting information architecture, user experience design, and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with Core Web Vitals and ADA/WCAG accessibility guidelines to ensure optimal web performance and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment using Google Suite, Slack and project management tools such as Jira/Airtable.
  • A team player with excellent organizational skills, communication and attention-to-detail.

The typical base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 per year. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay for this position and your pay will be determined by a variety of factors, including your primary work location, skills, qualifications and experience.
