We are seeking a part-time Sales and Operations Associate for our Austin location. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing luxury jewelry startup. Ada Diamonds, venture-backed and based in San Francisco, is an online custom fine jeweler and the leading luxury retailer of lab diamonds. Our unique online Concierge model combines the ease, transparency, and flexibility of an online retailer with the high-touch, client-focused model of a private jeweler.

As the Sales and Operations Associate, you will assist Ada’s sales and production cycle including, but not limited to:

• Prepping for the sales teams appointments
• Preparing and maintaining that the showrooms are always client-ready
• Answering phones and greeting customers at the front desk
• Handling pickups and drop-offs with clients
• Organizing and managing inventory
• Inspecting, videoing, and/or photographing diamonds & jewelry
• Shipping loose diamonds & finished jewelry
• Running errands based on the needs of the team
• Supporting office and administrative needs

Required Qualifications:

• Texas resident
• Some college or Bachelor’s Degree required
• Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and workflows
• Highly proficient with Gmail and Google Apps
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects at once
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

• No jewelry background is required, but luxury operations or sales experience is preferred
• Basic photography experience
• Experience with database technologies such as Excel, Salesforce, 
• Experience with communication technologies such as Slack

Logistics & Compensation:

• Part-time role
• Based out of Ada’s Austin location 
• Hours - Tuesday to Saturday (Tuesday - Friday days and hours are flexible and TBD together, Saturday hours 9 am - 4 pm)
• This role requires in-person hands-on time with shipments, diamonds, and jewelry and is not a work-from-home role
