Bold is looking for an exceptional Copywriter who can contribute to brand and business objectives through elevated and creative content creation. Reporting to the Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating the content that supports various marketing strategies at Bold. Ultimately, you will focus on producing a high volume of strategic content, in a variety of formats that drives Bold’s organic and lead acquisition growth goals. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for writing and a keen interest in diving into the exciting technology and ecommerce world.

What you’ll do

  • Develop engaging, audience-specific business to business (B2B) focused content including case studies, testimonials, white papers, website copy, press releases, video scripts, emails, data sheets, ad copy, pitch decks, social media, and more 
  • Work collaboratively to create content that elevates current and future B2B marketing assets including eBooks, infographics, newsletters, blogs, journalistic/magazine articles, and more
  • Distill technical or industry-specific concepts into understandable and compelling messaging for demand generation and sales enablement
  • Align content with brand voice while ensuring technical accuracy to amplify our positioning
  • Use key business and developer personas to develop content that is relevant, engaging, and actionable
  • Work independently while engaging internal and external resources to own assignments through to completion 
  • Research and conduct interviews with subject matter experts and synthesize information from a variety of sources to develop short-form and long-form content
  • Contribute to the development of creative ideas that present complex topics in new ways

What we’re looking for

  • A work ethic that demonstrates dedication and commitment to Bold’s mission and belief in our BUILDERS Code
  • 4 to 6 years experience in a copywriting role creating business or B2B content 
  • Ability to quickly grasp and execute on creative briefs and topic assignments
  • Strong research skills with an acumen for tech-based topics
  • Portfolio that showcases ability to develop and refine technical content into relatable, conversational copy 
  • Portfolio that showcases ability to write for readability, clarity, voice, tone, and branding
  • Knowledge and keen interest in ecommerce and software products/services
  • Proven track record in writing lead-generating and sales-enabling marketing materials
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Exemplary time management skills with proven ability to execute with great attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, english, or related education/experience
