Position Description:

We are seeking a talented and entrepreneurial Creative Director to lead all creative efforts at Tecovas as we evolve into the country's favorite western brand. The most important responsibility will be full ownership -- from idea to execution -- of any digital and physical creative elements that we use to communicate our brand with customers. Specific responsibilities include:

This role will report to the Director of Marketing on a day-to-day basis and will work directly with the Founder/CEO to learn and develop brand guidelines.

Qualifications:

The ideal Creative Director is an entrepreneurial type who may have management experience in Creative or Art Direction but is ready to roll up his/her sleeves as the first creative hire at a rapidly-growing brand. Specific desired qualifications include: 

• BA/BS degree, ideally with creative focus
• 4-8 years of design and digital experience
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Strong written communication skills / ability to write effective ad copy
• Strong perspective on digital design and responsive design
• Excellent typography and layout skills
• Strong photo-retouching ability
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
• Portfolio of prior work that demonstrates design excellence
• Entrepreneurial, self-directed and resourceful – someone who will thrive in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Utmost character, honesty, and transparency so as to accurately represent our brand ethos
