We are the Information Security team at RMN, and our mission is to protect the business operations, information assets, and brand reputation of both RetailMeNot and RxSaver. The InfoSec team operates in an environment that is cross-functional and highly collaborative. Our challenges include addressing technical security risks as well as anticipating how laws, regulations, and industry standards impact our requirements to protect data, systems, and people.

Who You Are

• A Bachelor's degree or better in business, management information systems, an equivalent field; or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years professional experience in IT security, compliance, or audit. You have expertise in one or more data protection regulations or standards such as HIPAA, ISO 27001, CCPA, or GDPR.
• You are adept at analyzing and understanding business and technology processes and crafting useful and usable documentation and policies.
• Curiosity and a passion for learning new skills and systems. You like to stay ahead of new technologies and industry trends around security and privacy.
• Phenomenal communication and teamwork skills. You can apply compliance fundamentals to unfamiliar domains and translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA are preferred. Technical certifications are also welcome!

What You'll Do

• Be a crucial part of the RetailMeNot InfoSec team - successfully bridging the gap between application developers, infrastructure teams, and business owners.
• Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility as you work on compliance challenges and initiatives, always emphasizing improved quality and reliability in our systems and business processes.
• Build highly effective, measurable compliance architectures that include people, process, and technology controls; developing policies, optimizing business processes, and assessing risks.
• Design and lead evaluations and audits of IT systems, cloud infrastructure, and third party vendors; communicate the results to system owners, executives, and external auditors.
• Participate in and influence overall system design and architecture to ensure everything we do meets our data protection and security obligations.
• Support incident response teams by calmly and expertly advising on compliance impacts and requirements and helping coordinate remediation efforts across the company.
