Compensation Analyst

Job Summary:
The role manages compensation programs in order to evaluate internal equity, external market competitiveness, and legal compliance of SciPlay’s compensation structure and practices. The Compensation Analyst will provide technical expertise and strategic communication support to SciPlay and will work with business leaders and People Operations to align Total Rewards with the organization's strategic initiatives.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage global benchmarking analysis; evaluate job content/wages/salaries for internal equity, market competitiveness, FLSA classification and legal compliance of the organizations pay practices
- Deliver strong analytical advice on internal compensation strategies, market data, salary surveys and compensation practices in collaboration with HR and Talent Acquisition Teams to make recommendations and influence business decisions
- Identify market trends to monitor competitiveness of programs, model cost implications, and recommend innovative and effective solutions
- Monitor, track and build communications regarding the company’s stock compensation programs
- Collaborate with HR team on the annual compensation planning cycle facilitating the overall process for merit, market adjustments & promotions.
- Partner with People Operations team in assessing, designing, and applying compensation activities related to performance management and promotion cycles.
- Liaison with the finance and accounting teams to monitor compensation budgets, model costs of various benefit and bonus programs
- Prepare budgets, reports, and presentations.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of employee compensation and benefit programs
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting or related field.
- Relevant certifications, such as a CEBS or SHRM certification, preferred.
Required Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Compensation Analyst in a company of 500+ more employees.
- Experience with global compensation and benefits with a publicly traded corporation is preferred
- Experience in a high tech industry a plus
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Experience handling multiple projects and successfully meeting timelines
- Experience with stock-based compensation programs and administration
- Extensive knowledge of benefits and compensation programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation
- Knowledge of building compensation packages and bonus programs for various departments and seniority levels
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong people and project management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent understanding of job evaluation and job analysis systems
- Proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite.
- Experience managing benefits and compensation in a Human Resources Information System (HRIS), preferably Workday, Oracle or ADP
