The Data Operations team plays a critical role in product development at Armorblox. The team provides data and insights that power machine learning and AI at the core of all Armorblox products. The team partners closely with XFN teams across Engineering, Data Science, Product teams and provides the human operational rigor required to develop some of the most advanced technology at Armorblox. As a Manager on the DO team, you are responsible for managing data labeling and annotation programs end-to-end, working cross-functionally to improve existing data labeling and annotation projects, proactively surfacing insights and providing recommendations for product improvements, and actively engaging with colleagues and partners to enhance operational processes across the organization. You will be required to showcase excellent leadership, project management, problem solving, and communication to both internal and external colleagues at scale.

What cool things will you do?

    • Manage and scope out multiple labeling projects in a highly cross-functional environment.
    • Drive labeling workflows and projects success metrics and timeline.
    • Scope and define strategies for robust data collection at scale, contributing to data labeling and annotation efforts.
    • Work cross-functionally to build datasets that support Product and Engineering, while collecting and analyzing results.
    • Engage in strategic discussions to identify problems while measuring and improving the quality of workflows.
    • Identify opportunities to improve tooling, processes and implement scalable solutions.
    • Help establish team labeling goals and work with multiple stakeholders on strategies for executing, measuring progress, and reporting results.
    • Directly manage the day to day, workflows, and metrics of teams responsible for data labeling efforts.


Why are you the perfect fit?

    • 2 years of experience managing labeling projects for machine learning or quality assurance, survey design, experimental design and/or taxonomy/ontology.
    • Experience working independently and a track record of taking initiative.
    • Experience working with large data sets and keeping the quality high.
    • Experience in Excel and/or SQL.
    • Impeccable communication and relationship-building skills.
