About the Team
The Dropbox Research Operations Team’s mission is to empower successful Research and Researchers by designing and delivering programs and frameworks which help the Dropbox Research & Insights team deliver meaningful work at scale, efficiently and with maximum impact. The Research Operations team at Dropbox is a strategic team, contributing to organizational strategy and executing on organizational and company priorities by creating and implementing the infrastructure needed for Research teams to be effective. We partner closely with other Operations teams, Research leadership, Researchers and other Partners to deliver programs, initiatives and frameworks with measurable success and meaningful outcomes.
About the Role
In this role, you will be developing and leading our recruiting strategy and managing a team of 3 contract recruiting coordinators.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, manage and evaluate Research Coordinators
- Craft and manage multiple schedules, allocate work effectively
- Design, implement and improve the Dropbox Recruiting strategy and program (including self-serve, fully supported and hybrid programs) to support all Research& Insights teams
- Design, develop, implement and improve screening NDA/consent, participant communication process and resources and incentives program
- Develop education and resources and ensure adoption to support the above
- Solve escalated recruiting issues as needed, anticipate issues and proactively address them
- Define measurement, set goals and be responsible for key recruiting outcomes such as recruit quality, participation rates, timelines, etc
- Ensure that participant recruitment practices are in compliance with company policies and in line with best practices in Research Ethics
- Partner with Researchers and Research Leadership to identify team needs and capture requirements and project goals
- Communicate project and program status
- Partner with other Operations specialists and Business partners as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years in a UX Research Operations role and experience with research recruiting
- or 5+ years in a recruiting related role (e.g. Talent Acquisition) with an interest in UX Research and Operations
- Ability to design, implement and track the impact of net new programs with measurable success
- Excellent project management and documentation skills
- Ability to prioritize across multiple projects and priorities, making sure inter-dependencies are understood and planned for effectively
- Proven ability to coach, train, and manage contractors
- Ability to define new processes, programs and with demonstratable and consistent success
- Ability to build trust and gain compliance with existing processes and buy-in from Partners
- Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity with diverse Partners
- Ability to work across multiple complex programs
- Ability to set achievable, measurable goals and fulfill them
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SQL
- Familiarity with survey software
- Experience with project management tools, such as JIRA and Google Sheets
- Experience with scheduling and calendar management tools
- Experience onboarding vendors and managing the procure to pay process
- Experience creating and managing a panel.
