Sr. Director of Marketing Analytics

We are searching for a Sr. Director of Marketing Analytics to lead our Marketing Analytics team! Are you interested in building a world-class data analytics platform and driving meaningful business insights to drive our global marketing and product strategy? As our subject matter expert in data and analytics, you will have an opportunity to build a playbook covering every aspect of our customer journey, driving efficient decision-making and optimization across the company. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of performance marketing, marketing technology systems, funnel and driver optimization, and growth strategies across channels. This role will partner cross-functionally across the organization to drive the most value out of data and insights.
A look at your day-to-day:
Lead a team of engineers and analysts to drive strategy through end-to-end marketing analytics, and help define and build a strong data culture across the Digital Marketing organization
Manage the overall data and analytics roadmap, including scoping, prioritization, and execution
Define and implement consistent measurement across all brands and customer touchpoints. Lead decisions on data infrastructure, platforms, analysis tools, and tracking strategy.
Develop talent by creating an engaging work environment, organizing teams for business impact and personal growth, and coaching to develop skills within the team
Establish standards for collaboration with business owners to formulate quantifiable goals; advise on strategies and experimentation to achieve business goals
Collaborate with partners and team members to design and deliver reporting, dashboards, and analysis to solve specific business questions and challenge teams to ask the right questions
Analyze site performance including traffic trends, conversion paths, product interactions, and marketing drivers to improve user experience and drive website critical metrics (conversion, RPV, etc)
Use data to test/learn/optimize integrated campaigns that drive the highest measurable return on investment and revenue growth for the company
Define A/B testing methodology, decision-making frameworks, and measurement technology. Develop frameworks for multi-touch attribution models and media mix models
About you:
10+ years of related experience
Superb leadership skills at managing teams; outstanding and engaging people leader who has demonstrated the ability to lead, coach and develop employees
Brings extensive industry knowledge and experience, previous SaaS experience is preferable
Ability to adeptly speak to both technical and non-technical audiences, through clear data visualization and compelling data narratives
Advanced Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics or related site metrics ecosystem (Adobe Analytics, etc).
Experience with Big Data technologies including BigQuery, Looker, Google Cloud Platform, Docker and dbt preferred.
Extensive experience in custom ETL/ELT design, implementation, and maintenance.
Extensive experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.
Consistent track record of building end-to-end data models that have unlocked opportunities for revenue growth and optimization
Strong background in analytics, modeling, and optimization with an extensive background in testing and measurement
Subject Matter Expert in statistical techniques, predictive modeling, time series forecasting, etc.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work across functions as well as with outside parties to ensure alignment and timely implementation of initiatives
Ability to build trust-based relationships
Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to translate strategy into tactical plans
Outstanding written/verbal communication and presentation skills
High achievement orientation with the ability to lead and motivate others around results
Process and controls oriented leader maintains a strong system of internal governance and controls

Strong presence and speaking skills, with the ability to influence and motivate senior executives
