Instructional Designer

We are looking for a professional Instructional Designer and to analyze, design, develop and implement content and administer a Learning Manager System (LMS) for our Consumer Experience team. The goal is to engage learners in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and appealing manner while tracking data in our LMS.
The Ideal Profile
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer (eLearnings, modules, demos, videos, PowerPoints, manuals, quick start guides, etc.)
- Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs
- Plan out instructional end goals and create content that matches them
- Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods
- Develop exercises, activities, assessments, surveys, and knowledge checks that enhance the learning process and create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.)
- Decide on the criteria used to gauge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments
- Maintain project documentation, course folders, and training related materials
- Build out and work on assignments dealing with routine and daily operations, use, and configurations of LMS
- Administer all LMS user management and course management responsibilities
- Act as an internal consultant by analyzing data and recommending solutions to utilize the LMS to deliver, track training and measure performance to meet organizational objectives.
- Creates and updates resources to train and support learners on how to use the LMS for online and professional development
The Ideal Profile
- Proven working experience 3+ in instructional design and with instructional technology
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an LMS administrator or in similar position
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
- Proven working experience and skills in lesson and curriculum planning and implementation
- Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge
- Solid knowledge of course development software (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.) and Learning Management Systems
- Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the LMS
- Ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organization as well as vendors
- BA/BS or Master’s degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar field
Preferred
- Experience working with Litmos Learning Management System
- Experience in related industry (technology or real estate)
