As a provider of business-centric software solutions, SailPoint considers UX Design to be critical to the success of the business. The UX designer is responsible for driving SailPoint’s design vision and executing innovative user experience designs for its market-leading IdentityIQ product line. The UX Designer will have the opportunity to utilize the cutting edge of design trends and UX development technologies, and to work closely with our Product Management and Engineering teams to conceptualize, design, and prototype user interface designs for IdentityIQ. The ideal candidate must be creative, self-directed, a fast learner, and flexible enough to work on concurrent projects. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Product Marketing, and Engineering, to refine requirements and iterate on design solutions in an Agile environment
  • Build wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes in HTML5 with CSS to support product development activities
  • Keep up with the latest UX design trends, concepts, and technologies
  • Present user experience interface concepts clearly and convincingly
  • Work with developers to implement designs and validate features
  • Conduct usability tests with different stakeholder to validate design approaches
  • Collaborate with cross-product design team to ensure consistency across the product portfolio

 

Skills/Experience:

  • 3-5 years UX design experience
  • Track record of producing UI designs that led to success in the market
  • Exceptional understanding of fundamental interaction design and usability principals for browser based applications
  • Deep knowledge of user-centric design processes and methodologies
  • Expert level knowledge of design tools such as Photoshop, XD, Sketch and Illustrator
  • Demonstrated expertise in HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
  • Demonstrated knowledge of JavaScript (Angular is a plus)
  • Demonstrated strength in creating an intuitive user experience for multi-persona applications
  • Experience with developing enterprise software and responsive UI
  • Experience with design for print is a plus
  • Familiarity with SASS, or LESS is a plus
  • Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus
  • Team player, comfortable with rapid iteration process and working within a small fast paced team
  • Online portfolio of work samples is required
