Director of Digital Product, Ecommerce
Job Summary
Saatva is seeking an Ecommerce Digital Product leader that has the ability to navigate our growth now and beyond. In this role, you will play a key role in shaping commerce at the leading DTC sleep company as we take on the industry overall. We’re looking for a leader with a track record of managing teams that deliver value with urgency and precision. You will oversee the creation of the vision and roadmap for our eCommerce digital products. As a successful Product leader, you will lead through data and insights, obsess about customer outcomes in every decision, and lead by developing the trust and respect of teammates. The right person for this role brings a natural leadership presence and grit. They are proactive with stakeholders, a self-starter who can work under broad direction, and are passionate about delivering world-class digital products. This position is remote in Austin, Texas.

Your Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to articulate a compelling omnichannel eCommerce strategy, highlighting ROI for buy-in, and ensure company goals are baked into product initiatives.
- Provide a strong point of view on the direction of the site experience including roadmaps for CVR optimization, personalization, promotion strategies, loyalty/user accounts, AI, and other site enhancements that are validated with AB testing.
- Bridge the gap between data-driven insights and merchant perspective to inform roadmap decisions and successfully navigate inbound opinions.
- Foster growth, empower individuals, and cultivate leadership within the Digital Product team.
- Navigate competing priorities and gracefully decline less impactful ones to keep the teams focused of what matters most.
- Oversee the comprehensive promotional calendar across all channels, collaborating with key departments.
- Expand the online marketplace with strategic new product introductions.
- Partner with Engineering and Design for agile implementation of product improvements.
- Stay abreast of the latest ecommerce trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge.
- Manage and negotiate with technology vendors to secure the best terms for core site functionality.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management within the eCommerce industry.
- 4+ years of experience in senior management capacity, leading a team of Product Managers.
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence. Accustomed to delivering presentations to senior executives and stakeholders.
- Experience delivering digital consumer experiences in an Agile environment with rapid iteration and frequent release cycles.
- Expert knowledge of Ecommerce KPIs and familiarity with analytics tools (GA, Contentsquare, etc)
