Director, People Business Partner

Overview:
As our Director, People Business Partner, you will support our Chief Commercial Officer and lead the people strategy for our global Commercial organization. You will advise and partner with senior leaders to design and implement people strategies that build and foster strong workplace culture and employee engagement. This is a exciting opportunity for an action-oriented professional with a strong background in HR strategy and management, and demonstrated success driving employee productivity and engagement, through innovative, impactful, end-to-end ownership, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
- Drive and enable a strong workplace culture, aligned to DT's values
- Consult, coach, and partner with the business to identify, develop, and drive impactful, strategic initiatives including leadership development, succession planning, site strategy, and rewards and recognition
- Leverage key talent metrics to analyze and communicate insights that guide the business
- Partner and collaborate with People team colleagues, and across the global organization, to innovate, enhance, align, and drive effectiveness of enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives
- Strategically drive pay-for-performance, including salary planning, promotions, resource planning, and talent calibration
- Provide guidance on people policies and employee relations matters, as a trusted advisor to business leaders
About You:
- 10+ years of progressive Business/Human Resources Management experience in a fast-paced tech company, with a track record of strategic people and leadership development, talent management, total rewards, organizational design and development, and change management
- 3+ years of experience supporting a sales or revenue organization with responsibility for sales compensation planning, design, and/or management
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record of building and maintaining outstanding business relationships; demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust, and partner effectively across all levels of the business, in a capable, confidential manner
- Strong history of coaching and influencing senior business leaders
- Action-oriented and intellectually agile; able to quickly comprehend and act on new information
- An empowering and motivating people manager
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, with a high tolerance for ambiguity
We'd be especially excited if you have M&A experience, have used Workday, or have international experience, such as having worked in a different country or directly supported multiple countries.
This flexible-hybrid role (three days per week, in-office) is based in Austin, Texas, and we are focusing on local candidates (relocation will not be provided).
