Cloud Configuration Specialist
Q2 is seeking a Cloud Configuration Specialist who will responsible for implementing Q2’s Ebanking Solutions in order to align with the business requirements of our customers. You will be exposed to a highly customizable product on multiple platforms that are configured/engineered differently for each customer. The ideal candidate must be exceptionally detail-oriented, an energetic self-starter who can work independently and in a group setting. This work does not require travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the Implementation Team, own the connectivity steps for and 3rd party integrations for new customers
- Setup and configure VPNs within AWS
- Setup and provision certificates
- Whitelist IP Addresses
- Validate network-level connectivity with cores and other integrations.
- Validate applicant level connectivity for all cores and integrations
- Send application messages down to ensure valid responses
- Troubleshoot and engage with 3rd party network and technical contacts as required
- Setup and configure email integration
- Coordinate with customer IT to set up and provision Native Apps
- Coordinate with customer IT to set up sub-domains
- Receive and maintain 3rd party credentials and endpoints
- Problem-solve routine to complex issues
- Establish a strong working and strategic relationships to socialize initiatives and get buy-in across functions
- Provide Level 2 and 3 support to other team members
- Own the tracking and renewal process for expired certificates
- Maintain the integrity of existing customer 3rd party connections and VPNs across prod and lower environments
- Proactively monitor 3rd party integrations
- Troubleshoot and resolve losses of connectivity
- Rotate 3rd party passwords /credentials
- Create and implement tools that increase quality, security and productivity
- Track status and provide updates in relation to overall implementation process
- Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are followed
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Typically requires 2+ years of related work experience with AWS, Linux, systems management
- MS SQL skills: Understanding of DB Design and MySQL query language as related to enterprise software configuration, installation and debugging
- Operation System, Hardware configuration and Network troubleshooting skills required with packet analysis valued
- Configuration and deployment experience with Web Services
- Some knowledge of HTML helpful
- Knowledge of Ansible, systems administration, preferred
- Knowledge of Python preferred
- Familiarity with iOS and Android mobile platforms helpful
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and analytical skills for problem-solving
