Our top leaders have deep consumer tech experience; Jag Bath (CEO and President of Favor) leads H-E-B Digital, and Mike Georgoff (recent Chief Product Officer at Main Street Hub), leads digital product strategy and development. Why is it awesome? You will…

• Lead technical design and delivery of complex features across multiple systems as H-E-B that improver the customer and partner user experiences.

• Understand and constantly improve the cloud infrastructure that powers our high performance, consumer-scale site, and mobile apps.

• Help support the build and deployment pipeline and when necessary both diagnose and solve production support issues.

• Contribute to the overall system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability, and performance of applications.

• Coach and mentor junior engineers in software engineering techniques, process, and new technologies.

• Have the opportunity to stay ahead of new technologies with an eye to evaluating and potentially incorporating them into your team's architecture.

What is your background?

• Experience with common software engineering tools (e.g., Git, JIRA, Confluence, or similar)

• 5+ years of application development experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable field or equivalent self-study

• You have an ownership mentality and a track record of successful high-quality results
