The Role:
Are you a creative, highly technical thought leader in the modern identity world, passionate about making a difference for the customers of today and tomorrow through innovation? We are looking for an accomplished and open-minded engineer who can apply and synthesize customer input and past experience in solving new challenges, work cross-functionally to build prototypes that demonstrate solutions, and speak to worldwide audiences to convey important new concepts. What you’ll be doing:
Provide input and perspective on industry trends and future considerations for incorporation into company and product strategy
Research, develop, and document strategic viewpoints on emerging technologies
Contribute to future strategic planning and assist in evaluating competitor offerings
Work in partnership with the Product Organization to identify, research and prototype innovative technology
Act as a spokesperson for ForgeRock in the media and leverage social networks, blog, and video platforms for evangelism
Speak at key ForgeRock and external events worldwide
Support customer and prospect meetings to help position our current offerings and future product innovations, and use this engagement to understand market requirements
Engage in standards, specification, and alliance activities aligned with strategy
Champion our users’ needs internally by providing constructive feedback to the product and engineering teams
Participate in special projects such as M&A strategy and due diligence

BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
Domain expertise in identity and access management
Creative thinker and problem solver
Spoken communication skills to engage technical and nontechnical communities and enlist support from peers and industry
Written communication skills to publish research, POVs, and specifications, and engage technical and nontechnical communities
Organizational and project management skills for overall project planning and task management
Expert-level skills in two or more of these domains: cybersecurity, cloud services, privacy, Internet of Things, AI/ML, graphDB
Experience with Agile-based iterative development and knowledge of software engineering best practices
