WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are in search of an Engineering Manager for our Intelligence Team, the group at the heart of Braze's AI/ML development. As a part of this team, you'll have the opportunity to shape, maintain, and revolutionize our AI-powered products. This involves ensuring the efficient execution of real-time operation with massive data volumes. These operations are essential for providing incisive analytics, facilitating autonomous decision-making, and delivering an industry-leading customer engagement tool.
As a key contributor to our engineering leadership, you will be instrumental in enhancing key elements of our systems, while architecting for a large scale. This role presents formidable engineering challenges that call for a collaborative and cross-functional approach, necessitating close coordination with product and design teams. You will manage the team and help to grow the organization, leading software engineering via architecture design, growing engineers, setting vision and goals, process and protocol, and hiring. Your influence will be integral to shaping the future of AI/ML at Braze.
WHO YOU ARE
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a manager with a strong track record of success
- Experience leading Data/ML engineering teams staffed with senior engineers
- Experience building foundational systems at scale and spearheading software projects that significantly advanced the goals of your organization
- Experience with iterative processes and process improvement in software engineering teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and a user-centric attitude
