Position Overview:
Kendra Scott is looking to hire a Configurator and Junior Front End Web Developer to help maintain our eCommerce eco system and support the fast-growing business. Our ideal candidate must be highly organized, an amazing communicator, and great at working with cross-functional teams on multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
Create, configure and maintain Color Bar and Engraving products using 3rd party product configurator
Responsible for static content development on eCommerce platform
Convert wireframe and visual design mock-ups into functional web frontend software
Work with local and geographically dispersed team members
Participate in software design, estimation and planning sessions
Modify Salesforce Commerce Cloud eCommerce (Demandware) site preferences and configurations as needed
Work with internal team and vendors on troubleshooting production issues
Work with 3rd party providers to implement and run additional functionality for the site
Implements plans to achieve departmental priorities
Develop software solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud eCommerce (Demandware) platform
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor’s degree, coding boot camp or equivalent work experience
A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery
A high sense of self-motivation and direction, proactively reporting on status and tasks
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
Ability to be adaptable and a willingness to take on tasks outside of a narrowly defined role, ideally a desire to be multi-skilled
Experience with eCommerce operations, Salesforce Commerce Cloud Digital Developer certification a plus, but not required.
Experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence, JSON, XML, SFTP and Amazon s3 preferred
Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Experience with A/B Testing is a plus
Experience with Drive Commerce, Astound (formerly Fluid) also a plus
Experience working in retail organizations and understanding the priorities and nature of the services provided a plus
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
Previous User Experience design preferred
A strong ability to build relationship with co-workers and keep others informed
A growth mindset: desire to learn, grow and embrace new ideas
