Full Stack Engineer
Q2 is seeking an innovative and passionate Full Stack Engineer to help build an industry changing FinTech platform. This engineer will be part of a dynamic team that is helping to deliver the next version of our back-office reporting platform and will be integral in its success. This role has proven experience delivering front end and middle layer components that enable end-users to have a quick, seamless experience in the app.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop innovative new tools for our customers to utilize for reporting and data visualizations
Assist with development of front-end features as well as middle layer tooling to enable the best customer experience
Active participation in scrum ceremonies including grooming, sprint planning, standups, sprint demos, and retrospectives
Support, maintain and resolve problems with software in live production systems
Ensure compliance with all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
Minimum 3 years of application development experience as a full-stack software engineer
Experience in designing and creating API layers and development of front-end single-page JavaScript applications
Proven skills with advanced JavaScript frameworks (Ember, Vue, Angular, React)
Proven skills in Python, Node.js, or other related backend languages
Advanced knowledge of HTML5/CSS3
Experience working with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence
Experience integrating with backend systems and understanding data flow
Strong object-oriented coding practice and automated unit testing experience
PREFERRED:
You are a master at the command line
You know advanced Git techniques and workflows
Experience with VueJs and Python
Experience with building APIs and working with web components
