About the Role:

As we grow, we are looking for a new team member eager and able to take ownership of our mobile testing automation and tools. A crucial part of this exciting role will be helping us build and scale our iOS and Android testing. You will contribute to a team of automation engineers who work together to solve problems and make the best in class development experiences for our developers. You will interact daily with engineers to provide and empower them with tools and patterns to create and maintain healthy test suites with minimal escaped defects.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of mobile software testing experience for iOS and Android
• 2+ years of web software testing experience
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages
• Contribute to reusable infrastructure code in Terraform, Go, Python, Bash, Docker, Packer, etc
• Solid software development fundamentals such as source control, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, integration patterns, and testing strategies
• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain automated tests for continuous integration
• Demonstrated ability to use and test REST APIs
• Test automation using CICD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, CodePipeline
• Attention to detail and good communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• Can go deep with one or more mobile test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium.io, WebDriver, TestComplete, Calabash, XCUITest, UIAutomator for iOS and Android
• Using and testing GraphQL services.
• Testing modern front ends such as React
• iOS SDLC Automation
• Performance testing tools such as Gatling

Responsibilities:

• Operate and contribute to the automated infrastructure, tools, and frameworks used to execute and report automated testing.
• Actively participate in conversations and provide influence to the engineering teams to expand the scope of automation in areas such as unit, functional, performance and security testing.
• Maintain a learning mindset - looking for opportunities to improve our tools, products, yourself continuously
• Participate in regular team demos for the benefit of knowledge sharing and training
