Here's what you'll do:

• Have an immediate impact on technical projects and decisions
  Influence the future of the tech stack and technology of Hearth
  Build and own end-to-end solutions using a wide array of technologies
  Maintain existing systems to ensure high quality and scalability
  Collaborate and work cross-functionally with other engineering teams and our data teams
  Help craft and shepherd internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for highly scalable web environments
  Learn, collaborate, and teach other engineers through code review, pair programming, and discussions
  Serve as a guide and a mentor to other engineers

Here's what we're looking for:

• 4+ years of technical experience
  Comfortable making technical decisions; capable of brainstorming and helping to influence technical strategy
  Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate within and outside of Engineering to propose and develop solutions
  Experience writing self-testing code with testing automation
  Positive and solution-oriented mindset
  Experience working with databases, cloud infrastructure, and backend MVC frameworks
  A passion for building scalable, DRY, and flexible solutions for a wide range of potential problems
  We use Ruby on Rails, React, React Native, Docker and are hosted on AWS. Experience in these technologies is encouraged, but not required
