Senior QA Engineer

EverlyWell provides direct-to-consumer home health tests with easy-to-read and actionable results. We are at the forefront of personalized health, transforming the $25B lab testing industry. We’re here to empower people to take control of their health by making lab testing easy to access, understand, and afford. 

Job Summary

In this role, you will be senior QA member on our team. You’ll be hands on, working directly with both leadership and the engineering team. You will be guiding QA and engineers on the team in building and testing high quality, maintainable software that will grow with the company. You will help us build one of the best teams and engineering cultures in Austin.

You will be continually challenged but supported to grow as a technical leader.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on leadership for a growing Quality Assurance team
  • Lead the planning, design, implementation and execution of automated functional test strategies
  • Lead our automation strategy
  • Assist with the development of test plans and test scripts
  • Provide testing, implementation, follow-up and closure to projects
  • Work with members of multiple project teams through the entire agile development lifecycle to ensure the development of testable applications.
  • Evangelize quality and attention to detail

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of web application QA experience, preferably consumer facing
  • Experience with concepts of designing, developing, and executing software tests
  • Extensive experience in automated testing
  • Experience establishing and managing QA teams and developing QA processes
  • Experience testing large-scale applications, including load testing, performance testing and stress testing tools
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies, Test Automation technologies, and with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment environments (CI/CD)
  • Experience in devising and tracking quality metrics important to the organization

What’s next

  • We’ll start with a 30 minute phone screen to make sure we’re a good fit
  • You will work through an at-home project which will take about 3 hours
  • You’ll meet and interview with the team, and talk through your project
  • We’ll give feedback at each point in the process!
