Leveraging new technologies like custom Kubernetes controllers and cloud functions, we are able to automate the deployment, enhancement, and maintenance of our Kubernetes platform. Day to Day

• Building automated, scalable services and systems to power our growing infrastructure

• Collaborating with an agile team that is passionate about utilizing emerging technologies and delivering high quality and timely code

• Deploying monitoring and alerting systems to aid engineering and support efforts

• Diving into specific technology roadblocks and uncovering how we can make our platform more performant, resilient, and reliable

  
  

Your Expertise and Passion

• Has worked on an agile team and is passionate about SRE principles

• Has experience working with public Cloud technologies at scale

• 4+ years of experience deploying any (or all) of the following into a production environment: Docker, Kubernetes, cloud functions, pub/sub, relational databases, network file storage

• Has an understanding of the common WordPress technology stack: Linux, Varnish, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, and PHP

• Has experience (or interest) in the following development languages: Golang, Ruby, PHP, Python, SQL, Bash

• Has experience (or interest) in: configuration management systems, monitoring systems, computer network technologies, TLS certificates and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs)

• Computer Science Degree or Equivalent
