The Bold team is looking for a hands-on Senior VP, Product and Engineering to oversee all elements of the product lifecycle from conceptualization to launch and post-launch performance. The ideal candidate has a proven track record developing and scaling product strategy, creating aggressive roadmaps, and leading the engineering execution to build resilient products. This vital role will identify and implement modern technologies and development that will yield competitive advantage in our next phase of growth. The SVP will meet and deliver market needs by driving transformation of our game changing products. While Bold already serves over 41k customers in 120 countries, we are rapidly innovating and building the next generation of API-enabled headless checkout technologies that will share the future of commerce. This role is instrumental in creating and shaping the vision and execution of global commerce in a rapidly growing market with a TAM in the billions.

What you'll do

• Develop and oversee the execution of an aggressive product development strategy and roadmap which will ultimately result in top-line revenue growth and increased market share
• Deeply understand the problems, needs, and desires of our customers to build excellent product experiences and identify proper positioning in the market
• Lead engineering to drive execution of the product roadmap and deliver high-quality, high-impact work
• Lead and oversee the entire product organization ensuring that initiatives run smoothly across internal teams, customers, and stakeholders
• Make objective, data-driven decisions related to revenue and profits, user activity and engagement, churn rate and retention
• Define and analyze numerous product metrics and know when and how to apply each in order to influence the success of the product
• Serve as an inspirational leader with the demonstrated ability to build and develop high performance teams in a customer focused organization
• Integrate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and other functional areas to build a go-to-market motion 
• Serve as a key influencer in our product and service strategy and engage with prospects and customers on a regular basis to gain insights and understand needs
• Build your personal brand in the ever growing ecommerce technology landscape, while working for a market leader and continually pushing new innovations

What we're looking for

• A work ethic that demonstrates dedication and commitment to Bold’s mission and belief in our BUILDERS Code
• 10+ years of product development or engineering experience (preferably both) in high growth ecommerce or SaaS organizations
• Deep experience with ecommerce platforms, custom ecommerce solutions, and familiarity with the ecommerce ecosystem
• Experience building API-enabled products and support and services around them
• Demonstrated experience driving change management, running day-to-day operations and managing product development cycles from concept to launch
• Comfortable managing multiple projects to deliver core products on time and on budget while simultaneously creating exceptional experiences for users
• Strong track record thriving in a high energy, fast-moving start-up environment is strongly preferred
• Passion for understanding customer pain points and a proven ability to deliver solutions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage, mentor and motivate a large team
• Experience resolving daily internal and external problems and challenges in product management and engineering that affect a product’s financial and market success
• Strategic thinker that possesses a good eye for opportunities
