Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will design, build and deliver software solutions following industry standards and practices.
As a ( Software Engineer II) for (E-Commerce)located in (Chicago, Illinois), you will....

  • Operate within a full stack agile team and participate in all aspects of teams work of building out John Deere's Ecommerce applications and ensuring delivery adheres to the proposed architecture.
  • Ensure high quality software through adherence to Test Driven Development (TDD) as the foundation of development and enabling CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
  • Engaging in coaching, and collaborating with team members within the product space.
  • Provide understanding of Cloud Computing, Analytics and Integration patterns to leverage in creating a Data driven and Scalable Environment to support Ecommerce.


What Skills You Need

  • 3+ years of proven experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions in Java ECommerce (ex: Platforms, Applications, API's) leveraging change management
  • 3 or more years of experience with Java web development with Spring and RESTful APIs or other web services.
  • 3+ years of understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using Jenkins, GitHub & GitHub Action.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in TDD, acceptance test-driven development and emerging design
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience designing and implementing JavaScript UI applications with React.js, Jquery or Angular.js
  • 1+ years of demonstrated experience leading a team utilizing full-stack design patterns development following loosely coupled architectures in cloud environment

Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
