Sr. Director, Hosting Architecture
Q2 seeks a Sr. Director of Hosting Architecture in Austin, TX leading Hosting Operations in a fantastic company that has placed on Austin’s Top 10 places to work for the past 9 years.
Reporting directly to the CIO/SVP, this role is responsible for leading IT Operations to ensure our domestic and international technology infrastructure and operations are reliable, available, scalable and secure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Workforce and workload management; responsible for the daily management of highly technical employees that are engaged in Hosting Operations
- Plan, conduct and coordinate systems programming activities in support of both data center, public cloud and lab systems, including infrastructure/platform, build and deploy, product provisioning and system administration
- Monitor design processes and prepare reports on systems projects while seeing ahead to the future possibilities
- Accountable for Problem Management, issue resolution, and escalation by taking a broad view when approaching issues using a global lens
- Conduct and prepare feasibility studies for new applications or revisions to existing applications
- Review current status of systems, performance, capacity, and health; prepare recommendations for systems improvements by creating new and better ways for the organization to be successful
- Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of their function
- Responsible for the integrity of the operation environment, through Change Management, Configuration Management, Release Management, and Data Security
- Responsible for Service Level Management and reporting; responsible for appropriate practices to ensure Service Level goals are maintained and accountable for product results and quality
- Manage Vendor and Customer Contracts
- Responsible for maintaining the required Compliance Information Technology Certifications required by the business; establish, document and enforce various policies, procedures, and execution required to pass auditing
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7 + years IT Operations and staff management experience
- 7 + years’ experience in Data Center and Hosting Architecture technologies working with hybrid teams to successfully deploy software in both Legacy Data Centers and Cloud environments
