As a fully remote Senior Software Front End Engineer with Ascension Technologies, you will contribute to the creation of our robust suite of cloud-native applications in the rapidly growing healthcare software industry. You will be a member of an agile product development team working collaboratively with others to deliver software that sustains and improves the health of individuals and communities.
Requirements include:

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong fundamentals/foundation for HTML, CSS, JS
• Experience with React Native and Typescript
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Openness to new ideas and an unceasing desire to learn new things
• Ability to design, architect, and lead major feature or project development with minimal guidance
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, a positive mindset, and a collaborative spirit

Responsibilities:

• Leverage your polyglot abilities to deliver solutions to challenging problems
• Participate in overall system architecture and development
• Shape and embrace team values and commitments
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Actively advocate for continually improving quality and engineering practices

Requirements
Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.

Additional Preferences
Desired Skills:

• Experience designing and developing cloud-native, scalable, and highly available distributed systems
• Experience with testing using Jest and Enzyme
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySql, Postgres, Mongo, Redis, etc), SQL, and database/schema design
