Finance Transformation Analyst (Location Flexible)
Role Description

As a Finance Transformation Analyst, you will be a key member of the Finance Transformation team, driving strategic disruption and continuous improvement through process re-engineering, process automation, data analytics, and insight initiatives utilizing emerging technologies. You’ll own related projects from inception to execution and provide support for these projects once implemented. You’ll collaborate with teams across Finance in addition to the Business Intelligence, IT, and Data Engineering teams. You’ll take initiative in identifying high impact projects and partner cross-functionally to execute them on behalf of the CFO org.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about process excellence and emerging technologies in the finance field, who is comfortable working in a dynamic team environment, and who will embrace the opportunity to connect cross functionality with other teams. Additionally, this hire will have strong business acumen and data and technology experience, as well as possess excellent business partnering and networking skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Finance project portfolio and prioritize projects based on the overall CFO Org strategy and roadmap
- Partner with the Finance sub-teams and cross functional teams including IT, project management and EPD on the project planning and implementation efforts
- Measure ROI for projects with a focus on driving efficiencies and delivering value to the business
- Lead business requirement gathering sessions, strategize and execute new ways of improving processes and productivity
- Own and drive critical process analysis and continuous improvement opportunities in unchartered waters
- Facilitate automation of analytical and operational tasks and processes at scale incorporating Alteryx
- Ensure that the Alteryx/technical solutions adhere to Dropbox’s high quality standards and applicable SOX compliance
- Tackle various adhoc projects within the Finance Transformation team that map to our broader goal of driving process efficiencies and automation
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Alteryx with strong problem solving skills to deal with complex workflows
- Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques
- Reporting and data visualization skills using software like Tableau preferred
- Experience managing finance projects, with emphasis on process improvement and automation
- Execution focused with the ability to take individual responsibility for delivering quality work in a timely manner
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Applications preferred
- Experience with JIRA preferred
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external business partners
- 5+ years in business process engineering, finance transformation or as a data analyst
