What You'll Do:
The Global Payroll Manager is a critical role to the Finance team who is responsible for our payroll processes, systems and compliance as we prepare to scale to 750+ employees in 10+ countries. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting for payroll, equity and related activities (i.e., employee stock incentive program, 401K, workers compensation, etc.).
Here's a closer look at this key role:
- Manage US payroll and 401K processing
- Manage International payroll processing for UK, Australia, Singapore, China and India entities
- Manage employee stock option incentive program and related compliance/reporting
- Maintain accurate and detailed subledgers for payroll related balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Play key role in the initial legal entity setup and payroll accounting processes as we expand to new countries
- Manage processing of payroll tax filings and ensure overall compliance with federal and state reporting requirements
- Manage process of 401(k) elections, employee communication, annual 401(k) audit, and related tax filings
- Mange process of HSA contributions and employee level account reconciliations
- Maintain and manage time card system, provide on-going trainings as needed for new/existing employees and managers
- Manage and update Worker’s Comp policies, lead on-going Worker’s Comp audits
- Manage the process of preparing annual employee/non-employee payroll statements (W-2, 1099 and IRS forms)
- Prepare credit card and payroll account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and appropriate GL categorization
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3 - 5+ years of payroll / accounting experience
- Experience with Namely, ADP, Netsuite or similar platforms
- Proven ability to work independently and efficiently under deadlines and to handle unexpected, time-sensitive requests
- Proven experience working efficiently across departments
- Previous experience in high growth environments
