The Finance team supports all areas of the business, from key strategic decisions to the day-to-day operations. We are looking for a Head of Strategic Finance excited to play a major role in the financial evolution of Bestow. You will work closely with the CFO and alongside the founders, leading strategic planning, analytics, and investor relations for the Company.

We ideally would like this person located in Austin, TX but are open to Remote for the right candidate.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Support the development of our long-term strategy. Drive development of long term growth plans and profitability goals.
• Maintain strong company and sector expertise. Report on emerging market trends and recommend expansion opportunities including mergers & acquisitions. Identify and report on competitive threats.
• Conduct research and analysis of operational effectiveness and business process.
• Align departmental goals, processes and resource allocation with Bestow’s organizational strategy.
• Support business development led by Business Line leaders including conducting research and contributing strategy to presentations and proposals. Analyze the viability of various opportunities.
• Develop a proactive investor relations strategy, framework including messaging and valuation models. Assist with presentations for investors, corporate communications, marketing initiatives, and customer events.
• Maintain current investor financial model and presentations to ensure they are informative, accurate, and relevant to the current environment.
• Assess data to gain insights and recommend pricing strategies that align closely with market trends. Develop dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs.

ABOUT YOU

• 7+ years of professional experience, preferably in investment banking, sell side equity research, business development, corporate strategy and/or consulting. Experience in financial services is a plus.
• Superior financial and investment analysis capabilities, including clear and thorough understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques used by financial and investment professionals. First-principles approach to understanding complex concepts.
• Exceptional presentation skills. 
• Outstanding and persuasive communicator.
• Collaborative style and viewed as a strong business partner, both efficient and consistently adding value. 
• Experience successfully leading a team.
• Continuously strive to improve the Investor Relations function; ensure best in class practices are in place.
• Solicit and accept feedback, criticism, and alternative points of view.
• Intellectually curious and demonstrated self-starter.
• Undergraduate degree required. MBA or an advanced degree is a plus.
